Initial deal: Select 6-10 cards for the deal. . Kitty: Deal 2-6 cards to the kitty. . Stick the dealer: The dealer must bid if everyone else passes. . Dealer can steal: The dealer may match the highest bid instead of exceeding it. . Misdeal: Allow a misdeal for hands with only cards ranked 9 or lower. . Dealer can run it: The dealer may choose to deal three more cards. . Discarding: Allow discarding after trump is chosen, with the option to give the stock to the dealer or maker. . Trump only: Require players to lead and follow with trump only. . Team: Play in partnerships or individually. . Low point: Assign the low trump point to the capturer or the player who played it. . Off-jack: Include the off-jack as an additional trump worth one point. . Jokers: Play with 0-2 jokers, each worth 1 point. .
